It's quite good that you have started your journal. Please keep it up and write something "every day."
As to your first ("1st," not 1th) try, the following are some points you should pay attention to:
1. Please use "capital letters" ("T"oday, "I") at the beginning of every sentence.
2. There MUST be a conjunction between sentences. Thus your first sentence should be: "Today is a boring day, and/because/since..."
3. The function of conjunctions is to link the units of "the same grammatical properties," and therefore this sentence "I didn't go everywhere and did anything" means "I didn't go everywhere and I did anything." This is not what your intended to mean. You should write "I didn't go ANYWHERE(NOT everywhere) OR DO (since "didn't" is omitted) anything." Or, if you want to use "and," you should write "I didn't go anywhere and do NOTHING."
4. "Grade" is a countable noun, and thus your last sentence should be "I just hope I can get A good grade AT (NOT "in") my math test tomorrow."
There is another thing. Since your goal is to obtain a good grade at TOEFL or SAT, I'd like to change the form of your journal. From your NEXT article, please write a composition about 80 to 100 words and give it a title. This is what you MUST do: please read a piece English news (you can get A LOT at www.cnn.com or www.bbc.co.uk) and write a feedback. And most importantly, you MUST practice it EVERY DAY.
When everyone is progressing but you are still standing at the same position, you are actually regressing.
Preventing from the flu is all about common sense, so is learning a language. Everyone knows how to keep safe from the flu; the ONLY difference is that some DO it, and some don't. Likewise, everyone knows that studying hard and keeping practicing is the ONLY way to learn English well; the ONLY difference is that some people DO it, and some DON'T.
